Student Nutrition Advisory Council (SNAC)
The Student Nutrition Advisory Council (S.N.A.C.) is a student voice group made up of learners in grades 4–12 who want to help make Holmen’s school meals, snack offerings, and dining spaces an even better part of the school day.

Who Can Join?
SNAC is open to students in grades 4–12 who:
- Care about healthy food choices and wellness.
- Want to share ideas about school meals and snacks.
- Enjoy working with other students and adults.
Students from all Holmen schools are welcome to participate.
What Do SNAC Members Do?
SNAC members meet with Food Service staff and school leaders to:
- Share feedback on menus, favorite items, and new ideas.
- Discuss ways to improve the cafeteria environment.
- Learn more about nutrition, wellness, and food service.
- Help plan promotions, taste tests, and special events.
Objectives & Purpose
The Student Nutrition Advisory Council helps make the school food service program a more meaningful part of students’ school experience. SNAC works to:
- Promote good nutritional habits among Holmen’s young adults.
- Stimulate interest in nutrition, health, and school food service programs.
- Serve as a communication bridge between food service, administrators, and students.
- Help make the school food service program the best it can be.
